School Tour Descriptions & Materials
Guided tours of the Main House are available for school groups from 4th – 12th grades.  Group tours are conducted by professionally trained Volunteer Guides and are available by appointment.  Tours last approximately one hour.  For all information concerning, rates, reservations policies and procedures, please proceed to school tour reservations.

Vizcaya has developed thematic tours for school audiences which support local, state and national curricular goals in Social Studies, Visual Arts and Language Arts:

Visiting Vizcaya

Teacher Workshop: Saturday, September 11, 2010
Explore the role of the arts at Vizcaya past and present, including the Contemporary Arts Project and prepare for a future field study with your students. This workshop is designed for 9th–12th grade teachers. A $20 registration fee includes lunch, all materials, and complimentary bus transportation and museum admission for teachers to return to Vizcaya with up to 35 students.
