Free Sundays
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens opens its gates free of charge on the last Sundays in June, July, and August of 2008 for a day of free programs and activities for all ages. Celebrate Free Sundays at Vizcaya on June 29, July 27 and August 31.
To ensure the safety of our historic property and collections, Security will monitor and limit the number of visitors in the house and on the property. Free Sundays have been such a success, we regret that parking will be very difficult for visitors and we may need to stop entry to the entire Vizcaya property at 3:00 p.m. to prevent over-crowding.
PLAN YOUR VISIT:
We appreciate your cooperation to help preserve Vizcaya, Miami's only public National Historic Landmark. No food, beverages, umbrellas, strollers or backpacks are permitted in the Main House. Unfortunately, Vizcaya does not have a bag check. Strollers may be parked outside the Main House.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens welcomes all visitors and their service animals, and is committed to offering accessible facilities and full and rich experiences. As a National Historic Landmark built nearly a century ago Vizcaya has both the challenge and the opportunity to determine how we can best preserve Vizcaya, while welcoming visitors with diverse interests and needs. All visitors should be aware and cautious of the many steps and uneven floors and terrain throughout Vizcaya's Main House, Gardens and grounds.
